We were delighted to celebrate Europe Day, on May 9th,  by welcoming the Hungarian Ambassador, István Pálffy, to Scoil Íosa. Children from various classes showcased our school and talents including giving a hurling demonstration, singing songs and playing traditional musical instruments for Mr. Pálffy. He paid a visit to 5th class where he explained all about being the Hungarian Ambassador in Ireland and what his role included. Scoil Íosa would like to extend our gratitude to Mr. Pálffy for the visit and to all the children and parents who helped welcome him.
