Congratulations to Erica Byrne a pupil in Ms. Watchorns class on retaining the Oireachtas Rince Connaught dancing title.
Well done Erica

Very well done to a pupil in our Third Class, Míchéal Finn -  Richardson on his great work in raising funds for Mayo Roscommon Hospice. Míchéal timed his project to co incide with the nationwide 'Shave or Dye' initiative and had his hair dyed in memory of his godfather whom passed away at the age of 41. Thanks to Valeries hair salon for helping Míchéal out by colouring his hair.

On Thursday March 13th, Ms. Flatley's Second and Third Class visited Ballyhaunis Town Library to take part in a 'Seachtain na Gaeilge' event. During the visit, the children took part in a drumming workshop facilitated by Colm De Bhalraithe. All of the children were given the opportunity to dress up in carnival costumes and  to experience a variety of drumming rituals. It was a very enjoyable day for all.

Ar an Déardaoin 13ú Marta, thug Rang a Dó agus Rang a Trí cuairt ar an Leabharlann chun Seachtain na Gaeilge a chomóradh. I rith an chuairt ghlac na daltaí páirt i gcúrsa drumadóireacht le Colm DeBhaldraithe. Bhí seans ag gach aon dalta bheith páirteach sa chúrsa nuair a bhí siad in ann bheith gléasta suas in éadaithe ildaite agus taithí a bheith acu ar gach ghné den drumadóireachta. Bhain gach éinne taitneamh as an lae.
